What is a Neighbourhood Plan?

Our neighbourhood plan will be a document that will set out the planning policies for Stisted Parish. These policies will be used by Braintree District Council to decide whether or not to approve future planning applications in the parish.

The plan will be decided by YOU, the local community, the people that know and love the area. This means that YOU can have your say about how Stisted Parish develops and evolves over the years ahead, ensuring the community gets the right types of development, in the right place.

YOU can influence the future of YOUR VILLAGE but you need to GET INVOLVED! Come to the next public meeting and have your say.
